i did it!

i did it! i really did it! i finally found the courage to perm my hair. sat in the salon chair for two hours, and emerged quite satisfied with the result. a little too much curls... but my hairdresser reassured me that the curls will "subside" a little and it would achieve the wavy look i want.

went to church for dance practice. had mixed reactions. the only similar response i got were dropped jaws. some said it looked nice, others preferred me with my straight locks. but whatever it is, at least i know how i will look with curly hair. hee... this is the furthest risk i am willing to take when my hair is concerned. i will NEVER attempt to go for a fringe (that is, eyebrow and above). i don't think i have the guts for that.

went on to snap photos of my new hairstyle... before i jumped into the bathroom and wash off the mousse and all. may never achieve the same look again. what do you think? give me your comments!



now that i have washed off all the gunk applied to my hair, toweled-dry and a little blow-drying, i think the waviness is getting there. satisfaction level increasing steadily.
