of elaborate wedding invites

wedding invites are no longer just wedding CARDS. what i received for my cousin's wedding was more like a wedding invite book. there were something like 8 pages within a hard-cover binder. heard from mum, apparently, adrian and christie tied the binders together with ribbons themselves. because they bought the ribbon-embossed binder from india, but the pages inside were printed in singapore. within the pages are the usual to-whom, details of wedding dinner (in english and chinese), tea reception invite (coz my parents have to be served tea to), 3 pages of photos, entry and parking coupons to beaufort sentosa and....... an excerpt from a love poem adrian wrote to christie many many years ago. think it was 1990-something.

by the request of jac, i have taken a few photos of the wedding invite to show you. hope it helps with your wedding planner business. i saw another wedding invite from my cousin's friend that came in a box, lined with satin cloth and rose buds. very pretty. but i don't have it with me.
