sushi and friends

i think i am becoming a sushi addict. i crave for sushi most of the time. raw salmon and the like. wow. i think i can eat it everyday. don't think i will get sick of it soon... anyway, met claryce for lunch (and she overslept coz she stayed up to see england lose). we deduced that we have not met for almost a year. what kept us from meeting? not too sure. but it was sure a nice feeling to chat with her again. about everything from work to old friends. and since she paid for my lunch, i decided to return the favour when she convinced me to take a neocard with her. she complained of how everyone she has been out with refused to take neoprint with her. and since she was out with me, and i obliged to her request, she had to get a stool to sit on. hah! quite a sight!



after lunch was a trip to meet jon at honeycomb. off we went to meet vic, josh, chris, hao, boy, cy, kejia and theo for "around the world in 80 days"! they got free movie tickets from participating in an audience survey conducted by ribena. heard about the ad they were supposed to give feedback on. one word: pathetic. i think any of the marcommers can do a better job. at least we take more pride in portraying a more enhanced image of the brand.



back to the show! it was hilarious. was never too convinced to watch a jackie chan show because i think he is just a poser with all his stunt acts and stuff. but since the others were watching it, and tabs said that it was pretty funny, i gave it a shot! it is a lighthearted film that just tickles your funny bones because of the stupid stuff they do and the silly trouble they get themselves into. the guys sitting behind me was indeed enjoying themselves. i hear them laughing so badly so often... and the little boy sitting in front of me.. at one point, he simply spouted out, "why jackie chan so sad?" it was so cute. the boy in his complete innocence was so cute.

it was followed by a time of "where should we eat" since we had a group of 10. finally decided on century square foodcourt. had our food and they started drinking their ribena. it looked as though we were promoting for ribena. everyone had a ribena in their hand. "outing" ended with josh getting his long-awaited elvis album. could see the smile on his face.
