the who's-who
notice something different today? my link list suddenly extended dramatically. it makes my archives even further down the page, but who actually reads archives? they are meant to be old and dusty to be qualified as archives. but i digress. found out a few other people started their blogs and hence, decided to link them up here. i'm not in any literary mood to scribble any thoughts or reflections, so i'm going to do something really simple. the who's-who of the newbies in the blog community.
esther (aka e-tho-kia)
such an interesting character. haven't had the opportunity to know her better, but i will. just joined our church slightly over 50 days ago. a really loving sister, although she doesn't appear to be so in public. (i totally understand how we translate care and love into minor abuses.) ever so bubbly and perky, and always ready to flash that bright smile in your way. how can you not want to know what goes on in her sunshine life?
kenny (aka doctor who would make a terrible archer)
called his blog "womb2tomb". it just dawned upon me that he is a gynae, thus expert in the womb area. haha. how apt! anyway, he always says the wrong thing, and always shoots himself in the foot/head/mouth/face/wherever (hence the archer description above). i wonder whether he admits that he is aging and keeping a youthful appearance has its limitations to conceal his wrinkles. but i can't deny that he has a good heart, not necessarily extended to animals though. but that is another story. then he would be known as kenny aka doctor who would make a terrible VET.
ronny (aka little in speech but corny in thought)
wow! word of the day: craniectomy. defined as "surgical removal of a portion of the cranium". oops. and where is that? The skull of a vertebrate; the portion of the skull enclosing the brain. had to actually check up the online dictionary for that. and that could only be ronny. coming up with words like that. i remember reading a huge word on his friendster as well. speaks little but i am sure there are a million thoughts running through his mind (both intellectual and crappy), so that explains the "less in speech" part. how much thoughts can you actually get through your lips at any given moment? it would be interesting to look into his brain. oh! no wonder, craniectomy. (arghz! i still can't spell the word without looking above.)
ephraim (aka the not-so-young young adults shepherd group)
a deadly combination of the above two with the lethal-english-teacher tabby, cornier-than-mr-brown terence, can-be-just-as-scary rachel, self-proclaimed-SNAG melvin and the webmaster herself, karen. such concoction can only lead to loads of laughter. but then again, what are they going to do on this blog? hmm..... interesting thought.
